THE LUCY TEE

The Lucy Tee is a short sleeve tee worked from top to down in the contiguous method. First, the stitches are cast on for the back neck and increases are worked until the piece reaches the shoulder width. Then the rest of the yoke and the sleeves are worked simultaneously back and forth and then in the round. When the yoke is completed, the sleeves are separated from the body. After this, the body is worked in the round, and finished with ribbing. After this, the sleeves are worked in the round and finished with the lateral braid and then ribbing. The ribbing for sleeves is worked in a short length to create a minimalist mood. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline for the neck band. The neck band is bound off using a stretchy bind off method then sewed in half.
